Meeting Another Gorgeous Little 1-Year-Old | Chilliwack Baby Photographer

This little lady came to visit me on her first birthday... and not only was she adorable but she also has a great little personality - I LOVED meeting her.

Photographing 1 year old portraits is SO different to shooting the newborn & 6 month baby milestones... mostly because your reaction times have to be like lightning! These kids are now well and truly on the move and not afraid to go in whatever direction their new skills will take them, as fast as their limbs will take them! I have to give major kudos to the awesome parents who do such a great job putting these monkeys back in position every 10 seconds!!

I can't believe this little guy is 1 already... it only seems like 5 minutes that his Mom came in for her Maternity shots, very quickly followed by his Newborn photos... where is time going??!! (Makes me feel so old! LOL!)

Well, he was a little superstar, as always, and worked his model good looks like a pro.  We did have to pause halfway through, though, for some Momma-cuddle time. To be honest, that just gave me some different cute natural moments that I love - capturing that bound between Momma and son really tugs at the heart strings !

Rockin' the Bump! | Mission Maternity Photographer

I have so much admiration for my Maternity Session clients - they are proud of their blooming tums, and they have every reason to be. They are creating an exciting new chapter in their lives, as well as a little slice of cuteness. I was so uncomfortable in my skin during my pregnancies that I almost completely hid from cameras!

Now that I am older and wiser, I sadly can't turn the clock back... but this gorgeous Mama-to-be was the latest lady to be smarter than I was, with a visit to the studio to capture this exciting stage in her life! She was so awesome to work with... and brought a very excited Grandma-to-be for encouragement. Looking forward to working with "Team Awesome" , this Spring, after bump has emerged!

A Fabulous 6-Day-Old Model! | Fraser Valley BC Newborn Baby Photographer

Technically , this is the second time that this little lady has rocked a photo session with me... although her first time, she was still hiding in Momma's tummy!

Well, her second session was definitely not a disappointment... and although she didn't want to go into the complete deep "milk coma" that we usually like newborn babies to be in, she was still so well behaved that we had a great gallery's-worth of images in no time. I actually found it hard to stop shooting! (She was also so well behaved that I didn't even get chance to have a lot of snuggles... one of my favourite perks of the job! Oh well...)

I met this little chap's family at last year's Baby & Tot Show. (Fantastic event for anyone with little people, or expecting. You can catch this year's show at the Abbotsford Tradex in October.)  He was my second teeny-toed visitor of 2015, and brought his big sister with him... who just happens to be an adorable red-haired little lass!
