I was really excited to meet this little lady for her newborn session, after photographing her ridiculously-good-looking parents for their maternity session... and as predicted (by me!) she was a ridiculously cute baby.
We were anticipating, though, that her session was not going to be the easiest for me, since our "date" had been delayed by a brief stay in the NICU and a warning from Mom that she was a little fussy... however, she proved us all wrong and was a total angel. I think she just likes keeping everyone on their toes!

A 6-Day-Old Sweetie | Abbotsford & Chilliwack Newborn Baby Photographer
This gorgeous little peanut paid me a visit, last week, for her newborn session... and doesn't she have the most awesome head of hair?! I often add a little hat at some point in my newborn photos, but I just couldn't bear to cover that fabulous hair up!

Braving the Cold | Fraser Valley Maternity & Newborn Baby Photographer
Normally, when I do a maternity portrait session, it takes place either in the studio or on location. However, it just got cold here... and I mean REALLY cold... and this beautiful mama-to-be had her heart set on having both bare belly shots, as well as some images in nature. Obviously, I would never expect a client to expose skin to -7 degree temperatures, so we did a bit of both for a change! We started our session indoors, and then braved the cold for the second half...

Family Time! | Chilliwack Family & Baby Photographer
I photographed this lovely family last weekend. We had planned to make the most of the break in rain with a lovely outdoor session, but it was so bitterly cold, and the little cousins are so... well.. little (!), Mom asked if we could move our session into the toasty warmth of the studio... I was more than happy to oblige! (I hate the cold too... good move, Mom!)

Getting Excited For a First Christmas! | Chilliwack Baby Photographer
I was really excited to see this little peanut again. It has only been a few months since I took her newborn photos, but I know how much these teeny munchkins change in such a short time, so I always get excited to see those changes and watch their little personalities develop. Hope you have a fantastic first Christmas, little girl!
